Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Kalpraj Solutions (OPC) Private Limited. (“Emails Checker”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use the website at https://emails-checker.net, the application at app.emails-checker.net, and our email verification Services.
We act as the data controller for account and usage data, and as a data processor for the contact lists our customers upload: those lists belong to our customers, and we process them only on their instructions.
The short version
- We collect what we need to run the service: your account details, billing metadata, the addresses you verify, and standard technical logs.
- Your uploaded lists are never sold, rented, shared or used for our own marketing. They exist only so we can verify them, and they are deleted on the schedule in Section 8.
- We don't email the addresses you verify, add them to any database of ours beyond producing your results, or profile the people behind them.
- You can access, correct, export or delete your account data at any time; see Section 10 for all your rights.
Information we collect

How we use information
We use the information above to:
- create and manage your account and provide the verification Services;
- process payments, issue invoices and prevent fraudulent transactions;
- operate, secure and improve the platform (abuse detection, rate limiting, debugging);
- send service messages (receipts, credit warnings, security notices) and, if you opt in, marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time;
- respond to support requests; and
- comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules.

Your uploaded lists
Our promise on uploaded data. Contact Lists you submit are processed solely to produce your Verification Results. We do not sell them, rent them, share them with advertisers, enrich them from other sources, retain them after the retention window, or contact the people on them.
If you are an individual whose address appears on a list someone else uploaded: we did not collect it and cannot delete individual entries on request, because the list belongs to our customer who collected it. You should exercise your rights directly with the sender or list owner. We keep no searchable archive of verified addresses once results expire.
Sharing and processors
We share personal data only with the categories of providers below, under contracts that restrict their use of the data to serving us:

We may also disclose data where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety or property. We do not sell personal data as that term is defined under the CCPA, and we have not sold it in the preceding 12 months.
International transfers
We operate from India and use infrastructure in multiple regions, so personal data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where data of EU/UK residents is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses. Customers uploading data remain responsible for ensuring they may lawfully transfer it to us under Section 8 of our Terms of Service.

Security
We protect personal data with encryption in transit (TLS), hashed credentials, least-privilege access controls, network isolation between services, and monitoring. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.
Your privacy rights
Whatever your location, you can exercise the following with us at [email protected]:
- access a copy of your personal data, and correct anything inaccurate;
- delete your account and associated personal data;
- export your data in a portable format;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent (for example, for marketing); and
- lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
EU / UK (GDPR)
In addition to the above, you may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests. We respond within one month.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. California residents also have the right to know what personal information is collected and to non-discrimination when exercising rights.
India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)
You may request access, correction, completion, updating or erasure of your personal data, nominate another individual to exercise your rights, and use our grievance-redressal mechanism below before approaching the Data Protection Board of India.
Children's privacy
The Services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes will be announced by email or in the application before they take effect, and the date above reflects the current version.
